A pre book appointment can have a long wait time
Appointments are very hard to get at this practise.
I phoned up at 8.30. doctor rang and saw me the same morning. Reception very efficient. Friendly chat with Dr Singh, hopefully no problem to worry about. They have a fine duty of care for their patients.
I do not visit the doctors a lot but they have always been thorough and caring.
We are delighted to hear that the service and care we provide is appreciated by our patients - thank you so much. We always take your views in to consideration and appreciate your comments. ^Team Willowbrook
Phoned surgery at 9.18am and still trying to get an answer at 11.35am put in a quaue for hours with no updates on what number you are in the queue, absolutely ridiculous feel sorry for older patients who can't wait and need to speak to someone as they will be left waiting or give up, I know with the virus they are working at a reduced staff but surely waiting over 2 hours to get an answer is ridiculous
We are sorry you had a bad experience trying to call us, our phone lines do get busy at 8.30am. Due the Coronavirus pandemic, restrictions on face-to-face appointments have to remain in place to protect the staff and patients, so we cannot offer pre-bookable appointments at present. The NHS 111 team are able to arrange telephone or face-to-face appointments for you if they think you need it. For free medical advice 24 hours a day – CALL 111 or go to https://111.nhs.uk/ If you would like to discuss this further, please contact our Assistant Practice Manager on 01623 440018, when our lines are less busy after 9.30am. ^Team Willowbrook
getting an appointment to see a docter at willowbrook is not very easy you have to ring at 8:30am and its done on a first come first served basis.I myself have to do a morning school run so find it dificult to ring at this time and even if you can the phone lines are very busy and its unlikely you will get through in the first 30 minutes i did manage to get through at 9:10am today only to be told all appointments have now gone and to ring the next day as they dont give any appointments out that are not the same day this system is bad as its likely to be the same outcome the following day.I voiced my concerns about this to the receptionist who insisted the system was good because they had managed to fill all there appointments within the first half hour,In my view totally missing the point that the service is bad because lots of people have to go without appointments because of this system.I am seriously considering registering at a diferent practice so i can get an appointment to see a doctor at a convienent time and day other than hanging on the phone for up to 30 minutes only to be told all appointments are now taken for that day
